E/M Wave Inc., an antenna design, engineering, and manufacturing firm, is pleased to announce the release of the UHF 7 element Yagi antenna EM-B11410. The antenna operates on the 450-470 MHz frequencies and is designed for land mobile and public safety applications requiring highly directive, 10 dBi gain. The Yagi is equipped with UV resistant plenum grade, RG-141 feed cable terminated with a type N Jack connector.
Features include a rugged welded high strength 6063 aluminum boom finished with a UV and environmentally resistant black powder coat to withstand all weather extremes including icing, salt fog and high humidity. Additionally, the Yagi antenna is specified to perform at operating temperatures -40° to +85°C and is rated to survive wind speeds up to 175 mph. The radiators incorporate solid rod 6061 aluminum, eliminating water retention, stagnation, and interior element corrosion, while providing high strength and reliable performance.
